Manawatu striker Nick Wilson returned to the Black Sticks this year after last playing at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games. He also played at London 2012, and won a bronze medal at the Commonwealth Games in Delhi 2010.

Wilson, who has recovered from two serious knee injuries to take his place in Tokyo, is a very clever attacker who reads the game well and is a real threat to opposition defences.
