Enter your Primary or Intermediate class in this free, fun and exciting group challenge.
Starting in Marseille, France you’ll visit many of the locations where the New Zealand Team athletes and teams will be competing, as well as a few famous spots we’re sure you will have heard of. Your mission will be completed when you reach the Opening Ceremony of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games at the Austerlitz Bridge in Paris.
Start date: May 6th (Week 2 of Term 2)
End date: August 13th (Week 3, Term 3)
Every step counts and we encourage you to use your daily fitness or PE time as well as other activities such as walking/riding to school and sports games.
We’ll send you a handy conversion chart the students can use to calculate their distances (and do some maths at the same time).
Students can see their position on the Mission Path and follow their progress on Google Maps Street View.
