Ali Forsyth

Biography

EVENTS: Lawn Bowls: Men’s Triples, Fours

Ali Forsyth competed in the Triples and Fours disciplines at his fourth Commonwealth Games.

Growing up in the heart of Nelson, Forsyth developed a love for the game from his father. Dabbling with indoor bowls in the late 1980s, he stepped onto the outdoor green alongside his father and never looked back.

With an extensive bowls career and current World Fours Champion, Forsyth was very excited at another opportunity to represent New Zealand, “to settle some unfinished business” at the Commonwealth Games.
