Molly Meech

EVENT: Sailing: Women's  Skiff 49er FX

One of the most decorated 49erFX sailors around, Molly Meech achieved significant success in the class alongside Alex Maloney for almost a decade, including a world title, silver at the 2016 Rio Olympic Games and a raft of podium finishes at international events. 

She teamed up with Jo Aleh in 2022 and the pair have shown steady progress since - snaring the class national title as well as several top-20 international results during their first two seasons. 

The highlight came in August 2023, when Meech and Aleh finished sixth at the sailing world championships in The Hague.
