Andrew Kelly

Biography

EVENTS: Lawn Bowls: Men’s Triples, Fours

Birmingham 2022 was Andrew Kelly’s debut Commonwealth Games appearance, competing in the Triples and Fours disciplines.

After stepping onto the green for the first time 22 years ago, Andrew's childhood dream was to represent New Zealand on the world stage, so he was rightly ecstatic at the opportunity to tick this goal off the list when selected for Birmingham 2022.

Training hard on the greens in Canterbury, Andrew has been guided by his coach Graeme Rees. Having won the National Pairs with Seamus Curtin in 2022, he will be chasing gold with his teammates in Birmingham.
