Biography

PARIS 2024 EVENT: Cycling-Road: Men’s Road Race

Corbin Strong emerged from the powerful Southland cycling system as a young rider with immense ability.

Strong was the junior world champion in the Team Pursuit in 2018, before joining the Cycling New Zealand HP programme in Cambridge.

Strong was in the Team Pursuit for 2020 track worlds, with the team winning the silver medal. He returned the next day to win the Rainbow Jersey in the Points Race. He was in the Madison at the Tokyo Olympics before being signed to WT team Israel PremierTech 2022-2024. He has recorded seven wins as a professional including the title in NZ Cycle Classic, 2nd place in Tour Down Under, stage wins in Tours of Britain and Luxembourg and number of high profile races.
