Dylan Simpson

Biography

Palmerston North cyclist Dylan Simpson demonstrated his potential on the 2017 Te Awamutu Junior Tour, placing 10th overall. 

Most recently he placed 3rd in the under 19 Road Race and 11th in the Time Trial at the 2017 National Championships.

The Boys High School student was part of his school team which won the Sir Bernard Fergusson Trophy last year at the National Secondary Schools Road Cycling Championships. He then followed this up by winning the U17 Road Race at the same championships.

In 2016 Dylan won the 7.5km under 17 scratch race at the Age Group Track National Championships. 

He will be 16 at Games time.
