Tokyo 2020 will be Joey’s first Olympic Games.
The Auckland-born attacker represented Australia at age group level before opting to play for New Zealand, and is set to make his debut at Tokyo 2020.
The 24-year-old Newcastle Jets player had a successful 20/21 A-League season on loan at Brisbane Roar.
Outside of football, Joey raps under the name JOWIC. His biggest single My Plan has over 1.4 million views on YouTube.
