Joshua Li

Biography

Josh learnt to snowboard when he was seven years old at Snow Planet in Auckland.

Josh went overseas snowboarding to Canada for the first time 2019 to train and compete. After that season away Josh started coming down to Wanaka for three to four weeks at a time with his coach. 

In 2021 Joshua started training with Nick Brown as part of the Snow Sports NZ National Development programme. Josh went to LAAX in Switzerland in 2022 with the National Development programme where he trained at the word class park & pipe facilities and competed in the World Rookie Tour where he finished 4th in Slopestyle.

In 2023 Josh achieved his goal of representing New Zealand at FIS Park & Pipe Junior World Championships. He will compete in snowboard slopestyle and big air at Gangwon 2024.
