Biography

 

Kate first played for New Zealand as a teenager in 1998 and went on to a successful US college career with University of Buffalo. She was voted MVP of the 2003 WNBL while helping Wellington Swish to the title, and has played professionally in Germany and now Australia. Mother Jane McMeeken is a former NZ women’s captain, while brother Luke Ruscoe is on scholarship at Brown University.
