Leila Walker made her Olympic debut at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. A dominant force in Challenge racing with six world titles, Walker made a stunning debut in the junior elite competition, winning the UCI BMX Racing World Cup round in Bogota.

In 2024, she claimed her first elite women’s national title and advanced to the semifinals at the Brisbane World Cup. At the 2024 World Championships in South Carolina, Walker’s stellar performance secured New Zealand’s Olympic qualification.
