Biography

EVENT: Squash: Men’s Singles, Men’s Doubles
 
Born in Zambia and raised in New Zealand from a young age the athletic Lwamba Chileshe has excelled in domestic tournaments.
 
Birmingham 2022 was his first Commonwealth Games and he heads to the Northern Hemisphere in hot form, having spent eight months based in the UK for training and playing purposes in late 2021, early 2022.
 
Chilese has five PSA Challenger Tour titles to his name and was a finalist at the New Zealand Championship in 2020.
 
His PSA world ranking has been as high as 92 and he will compete in the men’s doubles alongside his brother Temwa.
