One of Mitchell's inspirational athletes is Manny Pacquiao, the only boxer in history to win twelve major world titles in eight different weight divisions.

Retiring from international competition, Mitch joined the High Performance Coaching team and plays an integral role with the development of the up and coming athletes. He is currently the lead coach of New Zealand’s most successful ever winter Olympian Zoi Sadowski-Synnott.
