Biography
Nathan Xu (14) is a table tennis player from Auckland. He is the highest ranked under 18 table tennis player in New Zealand and finished first while remaining unbeaten in the 2017 ITTF-Oceania Youth Olympic Games Qualification Tournament.
Nathan is ranked third on the current TTNZ (Table Tennis New Zealand) men's rating List as of 25 October 2017. At the time of the Youth Olympic Games Nathan will be 14. His coach is Weizhong Jiang who was previously ranked 86th in the world.
His best national result is Runner Up in the Open Mens Category at the 2017 New Zealand Senior Open Championship. His best international result is 6th at the 2015 World Hopes (Under 12) Challenge and Under 15 singles champion at the 2017 Australian Junior & Cadet Open.
Nathan was born in Dunedin and moved to Auckland in 2012.
