Biography
Auckland boxer Pelea Fruean is a two time national champion and two time Golden Gloves winner.
The One Tree Hill College student has medalled at international events, winning silver in the Five Nations meet in Serbia in 2016. She was also the Australian Golden Gloves runner up in 2016.
Pelea is the cousin of New Zealand professional boxer Joseph Parker. She will be 16 at Games time.
