Biography

Phoebe Spoors is an Olympic bronze medallist, winning the medal as a member of the women’s four at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. 

Spoors joined Jackie Gowler, Davina Waddy and Kerri Williams in the boat in Paris with the athletes doing well to hold on for a bronze medal in a competitive final.

The gold went to the Netherlands in 6min 27.13s, followed by Great Britain. New Zealand recorded 6min 29.08s just ahead of Romania for the final medal spot.

Spoors is a graduate from the University of Washington where she completed a Political Science and Communications degree.  During her time at Washington, she helped the Huskies to an NCAA championship. She made her international debut at the Word Cup II regatta in 2018.

Spoors went to the Tokyo Olympic Games as a travelling reserve.
