Sam Sutton

Wellington-born left-back Sam Sutton has quickly become a fan favourite for his hometown club, Wellington Phoenix. The 21-year-old enjoyed a breakthrough season in the 21/22 campaign, showcasing his defensive solidity and attacking flair down the flank.

A regular at age group level, Sutton has represented New Zealand in both international youth competitions, and was a member of the NZ Men's Football Team at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
