Annette has been a Board Member of the New Zealand Olympic Committee since 2017, where she is a member of the panel of selectors and chairs the People and Culture subcommittee.

Annette is NZOC’s representative on the High-Performance Sport New Zealand Board. 

Annette has a sports governance background across local through to international sport. A former Athletics New Zealand Chairperson, Annette currently holds roles on World Athletics (WA) Council, WA Development Commission and is a founding member of the WA Gender Leadership Taskforce.

Annette is passionate about the NZOCs unique role to truly inspire New Zealanders through the actions of our athletes and teams; but also, through educating young kiwis in the Olympic values through sport. She is athlete focused and champions equity and inclusion in sport, leadership and governance.
