These Guidelines are intended to provide assistance to National Sports Organisations (NSO) when undertaking the selection process.
The Guidelines have 5 separate sections:
1. Importance and Implementation of a Selection Policy
2. Role of Selectors
3. Undertaking Athlete Selections
4. Appeals
5. Selection for Athletes to Commonwealth Games, Olympic and Paralympic Games
There are two versions of the Guidelines: An Executive Summary (THE ESSENTIALS) to remind those more experienced in Selection and a more Detailed Version (FULL VERSION) for those who need deeper guidance. Each of the sections are intended to be read together as a whole, not in isolation.
Executive Summary (The Essentials): A quick reference for those experienced in selection.
Full Version: A detailed resource for those requiring comprehensive guidance.
