Live blog - Day 9 of Commonwealth Games

Julie O'Connell and Teri Blackbourn had a great game against Malaysia taking them through to the gold medal match in 24 hours time.

Nick Southgate finished 7th in the men's pole vault finals and James Steyn 8th.

Sam Tanner finished 9th in the men's 1-mile.

Moira put up a great fight in the bronze medal match against her English opponent but unfortunately it wasn't enough for bronze.

Sam Dakin has finished 20th in the men's sprint.

Men's scratch qualifying - George Jackson won his heat to progress through and Keegan Hornblow placed 4th, also qualifying. In the 2nd heat, Marshall Erwood placed 6th - 3 kiwis in the final

Women's points race final - Ally Wollaston had an epic race and finished 4th, Bryony Botha finished 8th and Emily Shearman finished 9th.

Next up, Ellesse Andrews in the 1km time trial finals.

Elliot Connelly and Qona Christie gave it their all and unfortunately dont win their opening matches.

Joel Robinson loses his match in the Quarter final.

Noah Wallis defeats his opponent from Scotland and is also through to the semi finals.

Joel Robinson has second go in repechage round and unfortunately misses out.

Qona Christie also had another go in the repechage round and unfortunately didn't manage to secure a win.

Moira faces Australian opponent and misses out on the W. She will now move into the bronze medal match.

Noah Kallis loses semi final against Gaulin of Canada and will go again in the bronze medal match.
