The New Zealand Women's Rugby Sevens team have won GOLD in Paris after a thrilling 19-12 win over Canada in the final.
It's the team's second successive Olympic gold having also been crowned champions in Tokyo.

The New Zealand Men have been defeated 2-0 by Argentina in their third pool match in Paris. Argentina were able to defend their 24th minute goal for the rest of the match before knocking home a second into an empty goal with just seconds remaining.

Finn Butcher put together a great first run in the Men's K1 Slalom heats with a time of 86.35. Despite a slow second run, his opening paddle saw him finish seventh with the top 20 progressing through.
The Women's Rugby Sevens will play for a gold medal in Paris after an impressive 24-12 win over USA in the semi finals.
New Zealand will go up against Canada in the gold medal match at 5:45am (NZT).
