Lotto NZ partners with the NZ Team for Milano Cortina 2026

After a successful Paris 2024 partnership, the New Zealand Team and Lotto NZ are now teaming up for their first winter campaign at the upcoming Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic Winter Games.

Lotto NZ has long been a proud supporter of the NZ Team and are keen to build on the momentum from their Paris 2024 campaign.

New Zealand Olympic Committee CEO, Nicki Nicol said the Lotto NZ partnership is one the New Zealand Team value highly.

“After seeing their hilarious ‘Imagine’ ads with the skier, we knew they’d be a perfect fit for our Milano Cortina campaign,” said Nicol.

“We’re delighted to have Lotto New Zealand back with us for another Games and I’m excited to see how they’ll bring their signature creativity to life once again,” she said.

Lotto NZ CEO, Jason Delamore, was equally thrilled to rekindle the partnership with the New Zealand Team.

“Partnering with the New Zealand Team aligns with our broader purpose of raising lottery funds for community grants – many of which go to grassroots sports clubs.

“Our top athletes – whether summer or winter – often get their start in clubs that benefit from lottery grants.

“This is fantastic opportunity to cheer on the New Zealand Team in Milano Cortina while we also support our budding skiers getting out there and giving sport a go.”

Anna Wilcox (OLY#1245) said she has always deeply appreciated the support of lottery funding in helping everyday New Zealanders to participate in sport.

“And as a Winter Olympian who competed for New Zealand in Sochi 2014, partnering to help Kiwi athletes’ dreams come true at this year’s Winter Olympic Games is really special,” she said.

Anna will also be joining hundreds of thrill-seekers on 11 September to take part in Snow Machine’s ‘Powerball Polar Bare’ – hitting the slopes of The Remarkables in nothing but togs.

This year, they’ll be baring more than just skin, with every pair of togs revealing promises from Kiwis about what they’d do if they won Powerball.  Anna Wilcox and Free-ride World Title holder Jess Hotter will be taking part in their very own ‘promise togs’.

In October, Lotto NZ will also team up with Visa to offer lucky New Zealanders the chance to win a once in a lifetime trip to cheer on the New Zealand Team in person at the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic Winter Games in February.
