Ball is relishing having his whole family come to watch in Livigno.
“My family don’t always come to watch at regular events, so to have them here is pretty special, especially at the Olympics,” he said.
Ball said the Games simply has a different feel to it.
“I think the size of it is different to a regular World Cup event. The amount of people here, the amount of security, just how much of a bigger event it is and how many people are here to watch,” he said.
“We went up for an inspection of the Slopestyle course today, it’s got big rails, sick jumps, it’s the real deal.”
Ball and the Slopestyle crew get their campaign underway on Feb 7 from 10:30pm (NZT).
