Live Blog: Milano Cortina Day 7

It's finals time, and snowboarder Cam Melville Ives is set to unleash on the Livigno Olympic Halfpipe.

12th place finish for Cam

The young Kiwi certainly showed he could mix it with the best in the world, pulling out the big tricks, but just couldn't nail those final landings.

It's all on for run 3

Cam went for the same run second time around, once again got the big tricks down clean, but landed deep in the flat bottom of the pipe and sat down on the final trick. Back to the top for the third and final run.

Cam unleashes the triple cork 1440s but goes down on the last hit

A stunning opening run for Cam, with two landed triple cork 1440s. He ran out of room on the last hit, clipping the coping of the pipe and going down right at the bottom of the pipe. You've got this, Cam!

Dropping in T minus 30 minutes

Cam will be the fifth rider to start. It's a three-run format for finals, only the top score counts. Runs are judged on their progression, amplitude, variety, execution and difficulty. Let's go!
