Oly White joins Olympic Torch Ceremony
New Zealand Oly White Tommy Smith joined the Olympic Torch Relay celebrations as he waved the Olympic torch out of Ipswich on day 50 of its journey to London. Smith will play for New Zealand in London and said in a tweet it was an honour to be part of the ceremony. "An immensely proud moment for me this morning, a great experience and one I will never forget! The 22-year-old will play Olympic warm-up games against under-23 sides from Japan, South Korea and the United Arab Emirates over the next two weeks. Their Olympic campaign begins on July 26 when they take on Belarus.
