Amber Hearn

New Zealand Olympian: 1038

Biography

Amber has scored more goals for her country than any other player - of either gender - and her 50 strikes have come at an impressive rate of nearly one in every two games.

She is among several players in the squad to have attended Avondale College - the others being Jasmine Pereira, Kirsty Yallop and Betsy Hassett - and was prodigiously talented from a young age, running rings around others in the boys teams she played for as a child.

Amber has played for Arsenal and Doncaster in England and is now based in Germany. Rio 2016 was her third Olympic Games and she has also led the line for New Zealand at a pair of FIFA Women's World Cups.
