Bradley Knipe won bronze as a member of the men’s sprint team at the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games.
A graduate from the Southland Academy, Knipe became a junior world champion at Switzerland in 2016, winning the gold in the individual sprint by the narrowest of margins in the deciding third race over Australia's Conor Rowley. This followed a silver in the 1000m Time Trial.
Knipe moved into the CNZ High Performance programme and has battled back from surgery to emerge as the starter for the team sprint as well as individual events.
