Bridget Kiddle

Biography

18-year-old Bridget will be representing New Zealand in Women’s Hockey at the 2014 Summer Youth Olympic Games. Bridget is a student at Samuel Marsden Collegiate School in Wellington and she is a member of the Harbour City Hockey Club. Bridget started playing hockey in 2003, when she was seven. So far her sporting highlight has been winning the Youth Olympic Games qualifier in Vanuatu. Bridget’s role models include Aniwaka Roberts, Kat O’Callaghan, Felicity Reidy and Maddy Simmonds. Bridget’s favourite quote is from Sir Edmund Hillary: “It’s not the mountain we conquer but ourselves.”
