Biography

Glasgow 2014 was the fourth Commonwealth Games for Dean.

Dean has represented the New Zealand Hockey mens team at the Manchester 2002 Commonwealth Games where they won silver. He was also a member of the team for the Melbourne 2006 and Delhi 2010 Commonwealth Games where the team won bronze.

Dean has also represented New Zealand at three Olympic Games, (Athens 2008, Beijing 2008, London 2012). Dean plays in the defence position, and his shirt number is 8.
