Emma Robinson

Biography

Emma Robinson was born in Wellington and studied at Victoria University. The Capital Swim Club member was looking forward to her first Olympic Games in Rio 2016.

In 2013 she competed in her first Open Water World Championships in Spain in the women's 10km event and in the same year qualified for the FINA World Championships in Barcelona.

Back in the pool for 2014, she qualified for the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games where she competed in the 4x 200m freestyle and the 200m and 800m freestyle events.


Emma qualified for the FINA World Championships in Russia last year, after an outstanding qualifying performance behind Lauren Boyle. She was sixth in the heats of the 400m freestyle.
