Biography

Event: Men’s Rugby Sevens

Etene Nanai-Seturo was a member of the New Zealand men’s rugby sevens team which won silver at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games and the team which won gold at the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games.

A school-boy sensation, Nanai-Seturo made his New Zealand men's sevens debut in 2018, his first year out of school. He was a late inclusion in the Commonwealth Games squad and scored a try in the gold medal final.

He has since gone on to play for the New Zealand Under 20s, and the Chiefs in Super Rugby.
