Biography

Huriana Manuel was a member of the New Zealand women's rugby sevens team which won silver at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games.
The team beat Great Britain convincingly in its semi final but was unable to match Australia in the final, with their rivals overwhelming them in a 24-17 win. 
As captain in 2013 Manuel took the side to the inaugural World Series title and World Champion's titles, adding to her two Women's Rugby World Cup wins with the Black Ferns.
