What school do you go to?  Westlake Boys High School

What do you enjoy about your sport?  I love that swimming is both an individual and team sport. I like that although you mostly race as an individual you are still part of a team. Although swimming requires a massive commitment, I love training and there is no better feeling for me than getting out of the pool after a tough set knowing I have trained my hardest. 

Best sporting achievement so far?   Qualifying for and competing at the 2022 Junior Pan Pacific Championships in Hawaii. 

I was proud to represent New Zealand for the first time and really happy with my performance achieving personal best times in all three of the events I swam. Also qualifying for the 2023 Youth Commonwealth Games.

What are your sporting goals?  To represent New Zealand at the World Championships, Commonwealth Games and Olympics.

How do you feel to be going to the Commonwealth Youth Games?  I am excited and proud to representing New Zealand. I am also excited to be competing in a team of athletes representing different codes.
