The Trinidad 2023 Games

The seventh Commonwealth Youth Games will take place on the Islands of Trinidad and Tobago from 4th-11th August 2023.

The Commonwealth Youth Games is an invaluable springboard for the stars and leaders of tomorrow, contributing to the further development of youth sport throughout the Commonwealth. The Games have traditionally taken place every four years with the first event being hosted in Edinburgh, Scotland in 2000. 

The sports took place across Trinidad and Tobago, bringing a diverse perspective of the twin island country to the nations of the Commonwealth, as well as showcasing a festival of the country’s activities.

The NZ Team comprised of 14 athletes across two sports, swimming and beach volleyball.
