Biography

Beijing 2022 will be Hackett's first Olympic Winter Games.

She will be representing New Zealand in freeski slopestyle, as well as participating  in the freeski big air event.

Hackett has numerous top ten finishes at world class events including 5th in big air at the 2020 X Games Norway, 8th in slopestyle at the 2020 X Games Norway and during the 2019/20 season she finished 4th at both the Atlanta Freeski Big Air World Cup and the Beijing Freeski Big Air World Cup. This season she finished in 8th place at the Freeski Slopestyle World Cup in Switzerland.

Hackett is based in Wanaka, New Zealand during the New Zealand winter and Manigod, France during the Northern Hemisphere winter. She is the daughter of  extreme sport legend AJ Hackett.

She is coached by Snow Sports NZ High Performance Freeski Coach Hamish McDougall.

When not on snow she loves scuba diving, surfing, skateboarding and spending time with her friends and family.
