EVENT: Cycling – Men’s Track: Team Pursuit, Indiv Pursuit, 40km Points Race, 15km Scratch Race, 1000m Time Trial
An Australian-born rider whose mother is a New Zealander, Jordan Kerby won junior world titles in the points race and team pursuit before moving into the high-performance programme to win the World Championship in the individual pursuit in 2017.
After being over-looked for the Tokyo plans by Australia, he changed his allegiances to New Zealand to become a key contributor to the NZ programme. He was a key rider in the silver medal performance at the World Championships team pursuit in Berlin.
Kerby won gold at the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games as a member of the men’s pursuit team.
