Biography

EVENT: Shooting - Men's Trap

Owen Robinson has been shooting for around 20 years, competing in national and international competitions since 2010.

His career highlights include winning the Oceania Championships to secure an Olympic qualification spot in 2023, and finishing in a tie for 9th at the 2022 World Championships.

Robinson holds the New Zealand record for Men's Trap at 123/125 targets. He competed at the Paris Olympic Games in 2024, placing 11th.

He manages to balance the demands of his shooting training together with administering his own electrical business and life at home with his family.
