Patrick Mailata

Boxer Patrick Mailata is a Commonwealth Games bronze medallist. 

Competing at his second Commonwealth Games after Glasgow 2014, Mailata won bronze in the 91Kg+ category at Gold Coast 2018.

Mailata represented New Zealand at the AIBA World Championships in 2015, the AIBA 2016 Olympic qualifying events, Oceania Championships and the World Series of Boxing where he currently is retained by the British Lionhearts franchise. In 2017 he won silver at the Oceania Championships in Brisbane Australia. Mailata is of Samoan descent.
