Qona Christie

EVENT: Judo: Women's U67kg

Qona Christie has been selected as a part of the NZ team headed to the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games.

She represented New Zealand in her first Commonwealth Games in the women’s Judo under 57kg division.

Her selection follows her results in the Tunis and Algeria African Judo Open in early 2022 where she picked up a bronze medal and a 5th placing respectively.
