Sam Perry

Biography

Sam first competed for New Zealand at the 2012 Trans-Tasman Tri Series and was part of the World University Games Team in 2015.

At the 2017 New Zealand Open Championships Sam qualified for his first pinnacle international meet, the 17th FINA World Championships in Budapest.

Sam went 22.47 in the heats of the 50m freestyle, equalling the qualifying time. He also finished second in the 50m butterfly and was the national champion in the 100m butterfly.

Sam was born in Hamilton and currently attends Stanford University.
