Biography
Scott grew up on the family farm near Gore. He began shooting clay targets as part of his local high school team. Scott initially started off by shooting trench, before specialising in double trap.
Scott has competed off and on both domestically and internationally in the double trap discipline since 2001. He has won nine national titles and previously represented New Zealand at the 2002 Commonwealth Games in Manchester.
Scott has taken a year off from his job in the New Zealand Police Force to focus on farming and other business options. Scott is supported by his partner Nadine, and his three children, Isla, Annelie and Connell.
