Erakovic, New Zealands sole representative in the tennis events at London, had her first-round singles match against Canadian Aleksandra Wozniak postponed today because of intermittent rain.
The match looms as a close one Erakovic has a world ranking of 46th and Wozniak 54th. It is scheduled to be played tomorrow.
In Erakovics Olympic debut, at Beijing in 2008, her first-round match against Japans Ayumi Morita was postponed for two days because of rain before Morita eventually won a marathon encounter 5-7, 7-6, 6-4.
