Erakovic made to wait
Marina Erakovic doesnt have the best of luck with weather at the Olympic Games. Erakovic, New Zealands sole representative in the tennis events at London, had her first-round singles match against Canadian Aleksandra Wozniak postponed today because of intermittent rain. The match looms as a close one Erakovic has a world ranking of 46th and Wozniak 54th. It is scheduled to be played tomorrow. In Erakovics Olympic debut, at Beijing in 2008, her first-round match against Japans Ayumi Morita was postponed for two days because of rain before Morita eventually won a marathon encounter 5-7, 7-6, 6-4.
