The Opening Ceremony of the Youth Olympic Games in Lillehammer kicked off with all nations walking to the bottom of the Ski Jump where 22 years ago the Olympic flame was lit for the Winter Olympics of '94. Finn Bilous, freestyle skier was our flag bearer and he waved it high and proud.
Today the NZ curlers finished 7-5 to Russia. A close match, the Russians were up 6-3 and the kiwis bought it back to a one point advantage, only to go down by one on the last stone. They kept their spirits and played well!
