Mcilroy sneaks through for second bowls win
New Zealand's singles bowler Shannon Mcilroy was pushed to the limit before scoring his second win of the Games.

Mcilroy beat Fred Tafatu of Niue in a third-set tiebreaker. Having lost to Northern Irishman Gary Kelly, the New Zealander needs to win the rest of his matches to have any chance of advancing to a medal match.
He looked as if he had things well in hand against Tafatu when he won the first set 13-1, but things turned around in the second set when Tafatu stormed back to take it 8-3.
The match went to a tiebreaker, which Mcilroy was relieved to win.
