Keeley O’Hagan produced a personal best performance in finishing sixth in the women’s high jump.
The Christchurch-based O’Hagan cleared 1.89m on her third attempt, which bettered the 1.88m she achieved at this year’s national championships.
O’Hagan, 28, missed three times at 1.92m, though two of the attempts were extremely good.
The New Zealanders entered the competition with a first-time clearance at 1.76m, had two missed and then cleared 1.81m, got 1.85m first time and then eventually got over at 1.89m.
The gold medal went to Jamaican Lamara Distin, the only jumper who achieved 1.95m.
