NZ Team Alpine Skier, Alice Robinson, has settled into Cortina as she begins her training days for the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic Winter Games.
As she prepares for her third Games appearance, Robinson said starting an Olympic campaign is always special.
“It’s amazing, it’s pretty surreal to be here for my third Olympics, I’m always really grateful to receive the pounamu, it’s really beautiful and I’m looking forward to the next couple of weeks.”
After her recent crash, Robinson said she is feeling good and ready to take on the slopes of Cortina.
“I’ve been getting better [since the crash] and I’m excited to bring the form I’ve had this season into the next two weeks,” she said.
Robinson also shared a message of support for her fellow NZ Team athletes preparing in Livigno at the Park and Pipe venue.
“Good luck to all you guys in Livigno, you’ve been killing it and I’m sure you’re going to smash it in all your comps and I’m excited to tune in and cheer you on.”
