Zoi Sadowski-Synnott excited to hit Slopestyle course at the Beijing 2022 Olympic Winter Games!

Zoi Sadowski-Synnott (Wānaka, 20) had her first inspection on the Genting Park slopestyle course here in Beijing today ahead of the women’s Snowboard Slopestyle qualifiers set to be held this coming Saturday.

“We had a course scope today, just an inspection and tomorrow we start practice. It looks amazing, the boys have outdone themselves and I just can’t wait to hit it.”

This is Zoi’s second Winter Olympic Games, she explained “I am so excited to be here, this is going to be the craziest slopestyle, everyone’s ripping!”

Zoi is coming into the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympic Games off the back of an incredible X Games appearance where she claimed gold in both Big Air and Slopestyle and landed a world first jump combination in Slopestyle.

Zoi explained, “Coming off X Games I am feeling super confident in my snowboarding, and I’m stoked with how I am riding.”

Zoi will be in action alongside fellow Kiwi Cool Wakushima (Queenstown, 19) at 3.45pm NZT on Saturday the 5th of February.
