Biography

Belinda Colling is a former New Zealand international for both netball and basketball.

Belinda achieved 91 caps for the Silver Ferns netball team between 1996 and 2006, and gained selection for three Commonwealth Games and two Netball World Championships. Belinda is the older of one Gold and two Silver Commonwealth Games medals.

Playing in the New Zealand netball national league, Belinda played for Otago Rebels and later with the Canterbury Flames.

Marrying rugby player Charlie Hore, the couple moved in to Scotland briefly to follow his rugby career before returning in 2006 where Belinda joined the Southern Sting franchise back in the national league.

As a dual international, Belinda represented New Zealand in women’s basketball at the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games where the team finished 11th place.
