Biography

EVENT: Men’s Hockey

Blair Tarrant is a stalwart of the New Zealand hockey team, having competed at three Olympics.

He is known as a tough defender with good distribution skills, a vocal presence on the field and an extremely hard worker. He debuted for the Black Sticks in 2010.

Tarrant, Hugo Inglis, Kane Russell, and former Black Stick Nick Ross all grew up together in Otago and were coached together by Ross’ dad.
