Brett Hollister

Hollister won a bronze medal with the New Zealand coxed four team at the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics, having coxed the four to a gold medal at the world championships in Duisburg in 1983.
The Hamilton man won four national titles with the Waikato club within two years. The teams he coxed won both the eights and fours titles in 1984 and 85.
Hollister has had an interesting work career. He worked for Reebok in Hamilton, then for Sub 4, then for Nike. He had a short stint in Britain then ran a Nike office in Melbourne in the 1990s. Hollister is now sponsorship manager with Telecom.  He lives in Auckland.
